Mother Earth, Father Time, and Death

Rise of the guardians OCs, but not actually Guardians themselves. The movie makes it pretty clear that the four (later five) guardians in the movie are the only ones, and new guardians are not frequently chosen. These three are almost above guardians; it doesn't matter if anyone believes in them, they always exist.

Mother Earth is a creator. She gives things life, and spirit, and will. She's very strong willed and determined, and has a strong sense of right and wrong. She tries to be kind and peaceful, but if you piss her off she will not hold back. I've actually already drawn Mama before: but I didn't elaborate on her personality. She's loud and vivacious, always excited and curious. She loves being with people, and gets a thrill out of being in groups.

Father Time is quite a bit more Pessimistic than Mama. He's much more introverted, preferring to be on his own or with a small group of close friends. Time's not actually humanoid like Mama, and he only assumes the form because he quite likes being human. It's his job to make sure time continues, and he takes it very seriously. He's focused, intense, and sometimes a bit harsh.

Life + Time = Death. That's my thinking, anyways. You live, time passes and then you die, making room for more life. And so, Mother Earth and Father Time were lovers, and they had a baby, which was Death. Death is also not altogether human, but takes the form because his parents are. He's also not really male, or female, more genderless. He usually appears as a somewhat effeminate man, or a more masculine woman. Death's not evil, he just goes about his buisness, doing his job.

But many, many people are afraid of Death. Pitch knows this, and kidnaps death in an attempt to get more people to believe in him. Mama and Time call the guardians to help, being as they are directly opposed to Pitch, and can more likely stop him. Mayhem ensues.
